Israel to deploy 'Iron Dome' anti-rocket system PDF Print E-mail

Israel will deploy its "Iron Dome" multi-million-pound missile defence
system in southern Israel for the first time next week in the wake of
rocket attacks from Gaza, officials said on Friday.

"I authorised the army to deploy in the next few days the first battery
of "Iron Dome" for an operational trial," Defence Minister Ehud Barak
said as he toured the tense Gaza Strip border.

one have been deployed in areas in the west coast.

     * Washington, California and Hawaii have also found varying amounts

(CNN) -- Colorado and Oregon have joined several other Western states in
reporting varying amounts of radioactive particles that have likely
drifted about 5,000 miles from a quake and tsunami-damaged nuclear power
plant in Japan, officials say.

Japan toll tops 27,000 dead or missing PDF Print E-mail

THE number of people confirmed dead or listed as missing in Japan rose
