Radical Islam: Conquering the World One Gas Tank at a Time PDF Print E-mail

With oil at $100+ per barrel we all know and feel the financial cost everytime we fill up our vehicles but what we don't see or think about is the hidden cost. No I'm not talking about taxes but about lives and freedom. Everytime we buy gas the majority of that money goes, not to big oil companies, but to the countries where that oil is being pumped out of. 70% of the worlds oil comes from OPEC nations and most of those nations are radical Islamic countries or Communist dictator regimes like Venezuela. These countries then take the profits from oil sales and use it for things like military, police forces, nuclear research, and weapons. For countries like Iran and Venezuela this means using the money to pay for these things to opress their people and to supply weapons and training to terrorist organizations.

The problem gets worse though. Not only are we giving money to our enemies to purchase weapons and soldiers to attack us but we are giving them the amount they choose. The way this works is OPEC meets every so often and decides how much oil each country will be allowed to produce and sale as well as how much they will charge for that oil. Now most of the OPEC countries are publicly hostile towards the US and since the US is the largest consumer of oil and gas these countries set the production low and the price high as a way to attack the US without actually engaging in armed conflict. The US has no choice in the matter as we all have to drive vehicles to work, heat our homes, and have electricity and so the oil companies pay the price asked and pass it on to us. We then pay the price being charged because we have no choice and have to cut back our spending in other places which causes a ripple in our economy. The more we spend on gas and oil the more it costs to produce and transport food and consumer products. This forces us to spend less on consumer products as we have to pay the high food and gas prices and so US companies lose money. As the companies lose money workers lose jobs do to plant closings and general downsizing further harming the economy. So now we are not only paying for terrorism and nuclear research in Islamic extremist and Communist nations but we are sacrificing our homes and jobs to do so.

We have to buy gas so boycotts don't work so how do we fix this problem? First we can tell our Congressional leaders to pass a law forbidding oil to be purchased from countries like Saudi Arabia, Iran, Kuwait, Venezuela, and other countries that use the money to fund Sharia law, terrorism, and Communism. We might still have to pay the same price for oil but at least the money won't be used to attack us or our allies. The second option is for the US to tell OPEC that they have 30 days to increase production and lower the price of oil to $30 per barrel or we will take military action against their countries. If they do not comply then the US has to launch some Tomahawk missiles into Tehran, Caracas, Dubai, and Riyadh. This may sound extreme measure to get the price of oil down but the price of oil is a national security issue. If the price of oil continues to soar the US economy will crumble and we will be giving our enemies the money they need to buy weapons and train terrorists to attack us.
